Mid-Atlantic Travel Companies Utilize "Next Generation" Job Fair
The Virtual Job Fair™, features very diverse travel employers: AAA Mid-Atlantic, Airline Reporting Corporation, American Express Travel, Garber Travel, and The Cruise Web.
Career opportunities available through the fair are also diverse and include many non-agent positions. Opportunities for corporate and leisure agents are available in many different work-settings, at all levels of experience and in all areas of expertise. Non-travel agent career opportunities include Information Support, Database Entry, Collection Research, Customer Service, Business Analyst, Administration, Independent Cruise Sales, and Customer Service. Positions offered range from entry-level to senior management. While the focus of this fair is on the Mid-Atlantic region, many of the participating employers offer opportunities throughout the U.S, and the fair is a great opportunity to get in front of the right hiring manager.
Visitors to The Virtual Job Fair™ can attend from the comfort and privacy of their home at a time that is convenient for them. This concept eliminates the usual challenges of a traditional job fair: scheduling conflicts, worries about being seen attending a job fair, and outside influences that can effect attendance such as weather, traffic, or a hectic day at the office.
"This is our second virtual job fair this year and we are pleased with the response both from the hiring managers and the job-seekers. The industry needs solutions and Beyond Basics is committed to meeting our clients' needs with creative solutions that are also cost-effective." Explains Edie Grosz, CTC, a co-founder of Beyond Basics.
The Virtual Job Fair™ is not a job board. It provides job seekers with easy access to available information about each participating employer, career opportunities they offer, ease in applying for any position, assistance as needed, and someone to help them throughout the hiring process.
For employers, it is not a do-it-yourself recruiting tool. In fact, Beyond Basics designs, creates, and hosts each employer's room, markets and advertises the fair, manages and facilitates the process on a daily basis, and provides full-service placement support for each and every resume received. Since it is virtual, employers save valuable time by not having to prepare or leave the office for a job fair, yet they still receive the valuable support of a professional recruiting service.
To attend The Virtual Job Fair™, go to: www.beyondbasics.com/vjf.htm before October 31st. For more information, contact Beyond Basics at (410) 997-0800 or email vjf@beyondbasics.com. |
