STUNNING NEW OUTFIT FOR LUXURY PALACE

One of Bali’s most well-known hotel establishments, the Bali Hilton International, recently completed a lavish US$3million refurbishment of The Ayodya Palace (formerly The Ayoyda Club) – a 75 room private ‘hotel within a hotel’.

BALI, Indonesia—One of Bali’s most well-known hotel establishments, the Bali Hilton International, recently completed a lavish US$3million refurbishment of The Ayodya Palace (formerly The Ayoyda Club) – a 75 room private ‘hotel within a hotel’.

Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed (prior to retirement), Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra of Thailand, and Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chock Tong will be among the first guests to sample The Ayodya Palace when they visit Bali for the ASEAN Business Summit.

The luxury refurbishment, which commenced in May 2003, is the first major renovation for the classic hotel since it opened its doors in 1990, and will set new standards for ‘club facilities’ in Bali.

“What we have set out to achieve with The Ayodya Palace is a dreamy destination in a quiet corner of the Bali Hilton property that is unique in its facilities, amenities and contemporary in design and ambience. The Ayodya Palace is ideal for anyone wanting a new level of exclusive guest experience,” said Ian A. McKie, Director of Hotel Operations.

A first for any club style facility in Bali is a purpose-built, exclusive Ayodya Spa, featuring four serene therapy suites with tropical, outdoor relaxation bale pavilion, bath and shower facilities delivering the latest in Balinese traditional treatments and exclusive spa rituals. The Ayodya Spa is accessible exclusively to Palace guests from 9 am to 9 pm with in-room treatments available upon request. It is an addition to the already popular ‘Spa at the Hilton’, which offers a wide range of spa treatments.

Other new features of The Ayodya Palace include the introduction of a world-class butler service, private check-in, increased hours of operation at the Palace Lounge, and evening dining facilities in the lounge.

The exciting transformation sees every corner of the magnificent Palace area, featuring six room categories, and four private open areas, stripped and completely revitalized to add a new dimension to the Hilton level of guest experience. The revamped open areas have a modern Eastern design to reflect a relaxed and informal palatial residence, inspired by the grand palaces of the legendary Ayodya Kingdom.

The impressive face-lift begins with a complete redesign and extension of a sweeping private drive to the Palace entrance and foyer, through to the renovated and re-landscaped atrium courtyard and surrounding walkways, to the private lounge and pool area, and the 75 rooms and suites.

Inside the rooms, the sleek new interiors and design see an elegant transformation of furniture, fabrics and function infused with a contemporary, stylish and fresh look drawn from a modern interpretation of classical Balinese culture from provincial Bali.

With eighteen Suites, four Honeymoon Rooms and Fifty-three Garden and Ocean View Rooms the completed Ayodya Palace refurbishment is an impressive asset to the Bali Hilton International resort.

Services

All Ayodya guests will benefit from a dedicated Ayodya Concierge, new services and facilities, improved amenities, new in-room satellite 25 inch flat screen TV with a wide range of channels, stereo connected to the TV for in room movies, in room safe, state of the art in room climate control features, new outdoor lounge day beds, brand new bathroom facilities, deluxe mini-bar and tea and coffee making facilities, three telephones and a data port for the latest in contemporary communications, design and personal comfort.

Providing complimentary food and beverage presentations throughout the day including breakfast, snacks afternoon tea and evening cocktails, free internet access, a well stocked reading, music, and VCD/DVD library and secluded areas, The Ayodya Palace is its own private haven within the classic Bali Hilton Hotel.

“The Ayodya Palace truly creates a new level of accommodation for guests, offering a romantic, relaxing and rejuvenating retreat for those wanting a more private, sophisticated and individual option to the Hilton’s existing five story, 537-room luxury resort hotel” said Ian E. McKie, Director of Hotel Operations.
