John Q. Hammons Hotels names Anna Cure-Oberste Human Resources Manager for their newest property, Embassy Suites Hot Springs, scheduled to open November 18, 2003.

HOT SPRINGS, AR, September 29, 2003 – John Q. Hammons Hotels announces the appointment of Anna Cure-Oberste as Human Resources Manager for their newest property, Embassy Suites Hot Springs, scheduled to open November 18.

Ms. Cure-Oberste joins John Q. Hammons from NPC International Inc. in Maumelle, Arkansas. As Regional Human Resources Manager, she supervised recruitment, development and retention of management personnel in a six-state area. Her career spans nearly a decade of award-winning experience, with emphasis on training and coaching.

“We are pleased to introduce Ms. Cure-Oberste as a professional personnel manager who recognizes human capital as the cornerstone of our success,” says Kurt Schatzl, General Manager for Embassy Suites Hot Springs. “Loyal, dedicated employees are not born. They are motivated and trained by someone like her.”

Ms. Cure-Oberste says one of her first responsibilities will be to coordinate a Job Fair for the local hotel.

Job Fair

“Embassy Suites-Hot Springs will host a Job Fair at the Hot Springs Convention Center from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on October 10, and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. October 11,” she explains. “Anyone interested in working with us should attend.”

The local hotel comprises 250 suites plus an executive boardroom and three 1000-square-foot meeting rooms. The only John Q. Hammons property to feature an in-house day spa as well as fitness facilities and pools, Embassy Suites Hot Springs is the only new full-service hotel located within walking distance of historic Bathhouse Row. Covered walkways provide easy access to the Hot Springs Convention Center and Summit Arena.
