In fall, when most people have packed away their summer gear and are hunkering down for winter, those in the know are out enjoying the best of the whitewater rafting season.
The spectacular fall colours, abundance of wildlife, and the thrill of the technical runs draws out adventure enthusiasts looking to squeeze the most out the summer season. Better yet, Canadian Outback Adventures offers special discounted September rates on all of their whitewater rafting trips.
“Fall has always been one of the most amazing months for rafting. To add to the incredible scenery, bears, mountain goats, deer, and cougars are often seen along the way. After all, the wildlife shares the same harvest season as we do,” says Evan Phillips, Director of Operations for Canadian Outback Adventures. “Also, during lower flow times, the big hits and tight, technical maneuvers make for a very exciting ride!”
Canadian Outback Adventures offers a selection of whitewater excursions. The Wilderness Whitewater Rafting trip takes rafters on an adventure of a lifetime along the famed Squamish and Elaho Rivers. The three-hour journey cuts through deep canyons, old growth forests and towering glaciers. The trip finishes with a hearty barbeque and the perfect time to share stories at the Canadian Outback Adventures Base Camp. During the month of September the Wilderness Whitewater Rafting trip is priced at $109.99 CDN from Monday through Friday, and $119.99 CDN on the weekends.
Whitewater rafting isn’t just for the super adrenaline-charged. Canadian Outback Adventures offers an equally fun and educational Rafting for Families trip along the Cheakamus and lower Squamish Rivers. Available for children as young as five, Canadian Outback Adventures’ professionally certified guides ensure that everyone has a good time while maintaining the highest level of safety, comfort and protection. During the month of September the Rafting for Families adventure is priced at $67.99 CDN for kids ages 5 through 12, and $84.99 for big “kids” 13 years and older.
The Wilderness Whitewater Rafting and Rafting for Families trips offer departures at 8:30 am and 2:00 pm daily until September 19, and at 10:00 am from September 20 through until the end of September.
