New Roslyn Schools Audit: Some Problems Remain

A follow-up audit of the Roslyn school district — where six people pleaded guilty to stealing millions from the treasury — revealed Wednesday that officials have implemented some management changes, but some procedures that allowed the original thefts to occur still remain. “Our recommendations, if properly implemented, will prevent a recurrence of the tragedy that we had here at Roslyn,”
