Air Canada Selects Sight & Sound Software to Provide Optimum Online Travel Booking Solution
Air Canada has selected Sight & Sound Software, Incâ as a supplier for its upcoming website. The redesign of the site will improve Air Canada’s competitive position among the ever-increasing number of online travel suppliers. Sight & Sound’s BookSmartä is the industry’s premier online travel booking engine handling approximately 12% of all online travel transactions. According to the agreement, BookSmart will serve as the booking engine for a site providing online travel booking for Air Canada’s customers in an enhanced and personalized environment. The new site’s architecture will improve reliability and enable Air Canada to provide a higher, more personal level of customer service.

The BookSmart engine presents an open architecture, which used along with other next-generation web-tools, supports one-to-one marketing, its ability to connect to multiple sources of inventory, and its flexible, extensible business rule architecture. BookSmart is an important element in establishing an e-commerce platform upon which new products and services can be quickly added.
