Flip Flops and Socks Help Travelers Through Airport Checkpoints

December 23, 2004 -- Wearing sandals on a plane trip makes it easy to slip your shoes off if questioned at the screening area, but many people do not want to stand in their bare feet at such a public venue, not to mention having to deal with cold feet in the cooler temperatures. Flip Flop Socks and sandals cover the feet and enable travelers to wear sandals during travel. Some of the retailers are even marking their products "airport friendly" on the packaging.
