The Washington, D.C. site is the second Mandarin Oriental Hotel to use SuiteTV to power the highest quality high-definition in-room entertainment system. In December 2003, Mandarin Oriental opened the doors of its Manhattan luxury hotel and introduced its guests to InfoValue’s digital, state-of-the-art solution for services ranging from high-definition movies-on-demand to interactive digital TV.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, an award-winning owner and operator of some of the world's most prestigious hotels and resorts, implements its revolutionary entertainment system for its North American Mandarin Oriental properties jointly with InfoValue’s SuiteTV solution and General Dynamics Interactive’s Intrigue system. The successes of the New York City and Washington, D.C., properties have accelerated Mandarin Oriental’s plan to upgrade additional Mandarin Oriental properties.
