“Competitive Edge” to feature Motor Trike, Inc.

Platinum Television Group is pleased to announce the selection of Motor Trike, Inc. for its innovative, educational television series, Competitive Edge.

Motor Trike, Inc. is a manufacturer of trike conversions for touring and cruising motorcycles, serving those who cannot or choose not to ride a two-wheeled regular motorcycle. The corporate headquarters is located in East Texas. Motor Trike is no small-time company--its manufacturing plants, office and warehouse facilities encompass more than 70 acres of land! With this much land, all of the trikes that are designed by Motor Trike are able to be road-tested to make sure they are in perfect condition for the customers.

Most popular touring motorcycles can be adapted to three wheels. Although the size and weight of a kit varies depending on the size and weight of the model, an installed Motor Trike kit adds no more then 200 pounds to the original weight of the bike. Motor Trike’s conversions enhance the handling and braking performance and improve stability and safety. A step up to a trike is a wise decision.

The conversion process is done entirely in Motor Trike’s manufacturing plant. Trike conversions are available for an array of different motorcycles, such as most Honda brand motorcycles and Harley Davidsons. It is especially proud of its Motor Trike 750 Scooter for 2004.

The Competitive Edge segment will feature a discussion on “Trikes,” as part of the American Bikers Series. The company’s background will be discussed, as well as statistics and trends of bike ownership, the story behind the design elements and philosophy, the range of trikes, as well as visuals of the facility, the fabrication, and an interview with owners and dealers.
