New service caters to weddings aboard luxury yacht in Destin, Florida

--"I believe this is a one of a kind service," says Marti Carpenter, owner of Abyss Charters, of Destin Florida.

"We've been running deep sea fishing charters for many years now and I hadn't heard of anything like this before. I wanted to differentiate myself from the competition. I think I've done that," she added.

Marti added a new yacht going into Destin waters June 1st. This is a brand new triple deck luxury yacht licensed to carry 149 passengers. This yacht has all the ammenities for a fantastic wedding.

For the wedding party that loves to deep sea fish,
Abyss Charters is expecting big things from the Red Snapper season, which opened up with a bang Apr. 24th on the Destin coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Many 10 to 15 pounders showed up on the docks. Destin's migratory run of Cobia is still going strong with a 96 pounder topping the scales at present. Some Blackfin tuna and Wahoo are starting to show early this year.
