OneTravel.com Welcomes New VP of Business Development

OneTravel.com, a leading website for discount travel, has made an addition to the company's management team. OneTravel.com President and CEO Michael Thomas has named Brian Dickman Vice President of Business Development. Dickman joins OneTravel.com after three years at Miramax Films in New York City, where he was Senior VP of Promotion Services, Merchandising and New Media.

Among his new duties, Dickman will oversee the launch of the new OneTravel.com Partner Program, offering the most competitive commissions in online travel to website operators. The program enables visitors to book travel from co-branded sites using OneTravel.com's booking engines. The new Partner Center is located at http://partner.onetravel.com. In addition, Dickman will head up the company's effort to continue the growth of its strategic marketing, promotion and business alliances with media, retail and industry partners worldwide.

"This is certainly an exciting time for OneTravel.com," said Thomas. "Brian is extremely talented and comes to us with a great deal of marketing and strategic planning experience. A Buffalo, New York native with years of activity in live entertainment and radio promotion, Dickman coordinated corporate partnership programs for Miramax including a major campaign for the Meryl Streep film Music of the Heart involving school music organizations nationwide. In addition, he produced radio commercial campaigns for the studio's Academy Award-winning films Shakespeare in Love and Life is Beautiful.

OneTravel.com, recently named "Best Bargain Booker" by a prominent national Internet magazine, is a U.S.-based website that offers travelers single-search capabilities incorporating published fares from over 500 airlines, 8 million consolidated discounted fares along with their exclusive patent pending White Label airfares. OneTravel.com's Hotelwiz locates discounts at more than 51,000 hotels globally. Deals from over 48 car rental companies are offered worldwide through CarWiz. The company features important, practical consumer advice in sections such as "Rules of the Air" and the "Airline Savings Toolkit".
