BlueStarJets to open office in Chicago -BlueStarJets is leader in "on demand" private jet services
BlueStarJets – an innovative private jet company based in New York City – announced today that they will open a satellite office in Chicago at 500 N. Dearborn on April 19, 2004. James Flynn will be heading up the Chicago office, and will benefit from the support of investor and Chicago native John Kaufman. BlueStarJets will soar to new heights with 25 Chicago representatives who will accommodate the unique travel needs of Midwestern jetsetters.
James Flynn, a managing director of Blue Star Jets, has a diverse professional background. Mr. Flynn has served Chicagoland businesses as an attorney and financial advisor, which has supplied him with the understanding of the unique travel demands of private jet consumers. Flynn, along with BlueStarJets’ CEO Todd Rome, believes Chicago is fertile territory for private jet service and is the perfect market to help BlueStarJets spread their wings. With the opening of a Chicago office, BlueStarJets will fulfill the private jet requirements of individuals based in the Midwest while providing them with a flexible, more cost-efficient, and convenient way to travel.
“Private air travel is a rapidly growing industry with 15-19 million people flying privately a year,” says Mr. Rome. “Chicago is comprised of successful business people and frequent leisure travelers who can benefit from the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of on demand private jet chartering. “The Chicago office will become their local resource for aircraft charter and I look forward to providing Midwest residents with the knowledge of this true lifestyle benefit,” adds Mr. Flynn.
BlueStarJets, founded in March 2001, is an innovative company offering a variety of unique private jet transportation services. In contrast to the fractional ownership programs offered by other companies, BlueStarJets’ motto is 'Any jet. Any time. Any place'. By not purchasing a fractional ownership of one type of aircraft, BlueStarJets customers can select a plane based on their specific travel needs (i.e., long or short haul, number of passengers, etc.) With a mere five hours notice, BlueStarJets offers enormous flexibility and convenience to its clients. Unlike commercial airlines, which require its passengers to arrive at upwards of two hours before take-off, BlueStarJets requests that their clients arrive only 30 minutes prior to departure.
BlueStarJets offers its customers the ultimate in luxury and convenience with access to five thousand private airports as opposed to the five hundred commercial airports. Additionally, in October 2001, BlueStarJets hired a former El Al Airlines security official to provide passengers with the ultimate in safety and security. All BlueStarJets’ pilots have attended flight safety school and are FAA regulated.
BlueStarJets has an exceptional sky card program whereby a client can purchase a $50,000, $100,000, $250,000, $500,000 or the new $1,000,000 Black debit card to use toward jet services. The BlueStarJets Sky Card program is superior to its competitors because it is free of acquisition costs, maintenance or membership fees, and money deposited in each individual account earns 6% interest in travel dollars each year. The Million Dollar Black Sky Card program is the most unique program in private jet travel. Million Dollar Black Sky Card holders receive free flight attendants on all flights as well as free catering, free ground transportation and free concierge services anywhere in the world.
