Guest Casting Call

Casting Call for chefs, culinary experts, and innovators in food, beverage and hospitality. Chef's TV from LTN showcases the best in hospitality and entertainment, with programs such as Weekend Chef, Chef’s Studio, Vin -The World of Wine, and LTNN, the popular leisure news feed.

Chef's, culinary experts, food, beverage and hospitality companies are encouraged to send their information to Chef's TV from LTN for creating news segments, innovative programs and workshops. If you know of a rising star in the kitchen, or someone who has really made a difference to the enjoyment, or development of leisure time, let us know.

Chef's TV showcases the best in hospitality and entertainment, with programs such as Weekend Chef, Chef’s Studio, Vin -The World of Wine, and LTNN, the popular leisure news feed. Building towards its satellite launch, the team are busy with live events, industry awards, and its popular online sites, attracting over 7,000,000 visitors since their launch.

The majority of programs are taped outside of a studio, with either a live audience, or using festivals, shows or LTN special events as backdrops. The Chef’s Studio for example has leading, and upcoming Chefs demonstrating their skills before audiences, and in workshops covering everything from Chocolate Sculptures, to Roasts. Weekend Chef visits Marinas, Festivals, and RV Parks as well as weekend retreats from the mountains to the Outer Banks. It also explores the whole aspect of weekend entertaining, with advice on beverages from Whisky, Rum, Vodka, Brandy to exotic tropical drinks. The "Chef's TV Tent" or the Mobile Studio is seen at many key leisure events, as a base for interviews, demonstrations, and workshops.

Vin visits wineries, distilleries, and breweries, and searches out the unusual. Emphasis is on the people, not the product. Over 4000 wineries around the world have been contacted, and are feeding regular news items, events, and product for programs and workshops. The Crystal Carafe Celebrity Wine Dinners have proven a huge success, and audiences have warmed to the stories from winemakers, bringing a human touch to the wine on the shelves. The historic Avalon Theater in Easton, MD will be the home for many of the 2004 presentations.

In 2004 the first Crystal Carafe Awards will be presented, not for products, but for the people who have created them, or have made invaluable
contribution to the leisure industry. The first year will concentrate on beverages, food and marketing. Unlike most "Big Business" awards, corporate advertising clout has no effect, these are for individual successes, and
true achievement.

Chef's TV was created by global television pioneer Alan Simpson and can be found at
