American Idol of Inventions

Inventor Rich Errera, is a proud semi-finalist in the United Inventors Association / Inventors' Digest 2003 National New Products Hunt, which was sponsored by the Procter & Gamble Company. He has an excellent chance of going all the way to number one, especially since thousands in over 30 countries are already on a waiting list for his inventions that create "talking foods" to be manufactured (http://www.GourmetImpression.com). His two unique Patents Pending food embossing inventions were elected from a field of more than 400 entries, which were submitted by inventors from across the United States, having strong competition. The ten finalists will be announced in early November.

INew York, NY – October 20, 2003 – Inventor Rich Errera, is one of the 33 proud semi-finalists in the United Inventors Association / Inventors' Digest 2003 National New Products Hunt, which was sponsored by the Procter & Gamble Company. If you go to the web address http://www.GourmetImpression.com, click onto the cartoon TV and view him demonstrating these unique food embossing inventions. Amazingly within seconds, he easily and beautifully transforms pizzas, breads, melons, pastries, cheeses, vegetables, and even an Ice-Cream Banana Sundae into “literary works of art”.

Wow! Really Fun and Cool! Now people everywhere can make their food communicate with messages and graphics. “Nothing like this had ever been created before, and I am very proud of the enormous interest from so many people worldwide”, Errera modestly said. He is seeking manufacturers to contact him for licensing rights to produce and distribute them.

According to the UIA Executive Director Robert Lougher, "It is a fantastic accomplishment for any inventor to make it this far in the competition. The submissions we received were diverse and exceptionally well developed. Independent inventors have been the backbone of our economy since the founding of this great country. New products mean new industries, and new industries mean new jobs."

The UIA is a nonprofit educational organization for independent inventors and an umbrella organization for the nation's inventor groups. Experts in the field of new product development served as judges, and they will now move to the next phase to select ten finalists. These ten independent inventors, along with their new consumer product ideas, will compete for the Grand Prize and thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. All the finalists will also be featured on the UIA website:
