iTunesTravel Hits Big

iTunesTravel.com will revolutionize the way people research hotels, resorts and vacation destinations. Historically hotels controlled the available images of their properties by carefully staging photo shoots and limiting the availability of pictures. Brochure photos are tightly cropped and arranged in a manner that can often be misleading.

iTunesTravel.com peels away the curtain to showcase exclusive and extensive free video footage of the leading resort properties including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, the Caribbean and New York City. Recently launched in beta form, all of the detailed tours/reviews are available at iTunes as free podcast downloads. Tours average ten minutes in length and provide expertly shot high definition video with opinionated narration.

"We want to empower travelers by showing them what they'll really be getting when they book a vacation. We feature recent video footage of the pools, rooms, restaurants, common areas and much more. The hotels aren't always happy about it but we've gotten a tremendous consumer response. There should be fewer unpleasant surprises upon arrive at the front desk as our video library continues to grow." Says Tim Douglas with iTunesTravel.

While iTunesTravel.com provides video pod casts of the resorts, they do not offer any type of booking engine. Consumers will need to continue using booking sites such as Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline or one of the other popular on line destinations for booking travel.

iTunesTravel can also be found under the title A Video Travel Guide in iTunes. Current resorts available for viewing include properties from Hilton, Sandals, Super Clubs, Marriott, Hyatt and Walt Disney.

Destination Videos Scheduled for Upcoming Release Include:
Orlando
Miami
The Florida Keys
Aruba
Puerto Rico
Jamaica
The Bahamas
Las Vegas
Bermuda
Barbados
Hawaii
Colorado
