Travelpost.Com Announces New “Top Rated Hotels” Feature; Reveals Travelpost Members’ Favorites

TravelPost.com, the premier source for personalized hotel ratings and travel advisory services, today revealed its first “Top Rated Hotels,” a new regular feature that will uncover which hotels are the highest rated by TravelPost.com members. In addition, TravelPost.com will share why the winning hotels were highly rated. The first “Top Rated Hotels” will spotlight the highest rated hotels in Las Vegas among women under 30 traveling for leisure on an average budget, but the city and reviewer demographics will change with each future announcement.

And the February winners in
Las Vegas are the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay and Paris hotels. When rated by females under 30 on a leisure trip with an average budget, each hotel received a cumulative rating of nine-and-a-half out of 10. The Bellagio won out for its outstanding service and “pampering,” while the Mandalay Bay edged other hotels for its vast array of entertainment options. The Paris hotel was given high marks for its comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

A 27-year-old female from Stoneham, Mass. wrote of the Bellagio: “Everyone was sincere and happy to see us and more than willing to do anything necessary to make us happy.”

“There was a wealth of things to do,” wrote a 24-year-old woman from Attica, NY of the Mandalay Bay, where she stayed for four nights. “I never had a chance to get bored, and I never really had to leave the premises.”

Of the Paris hotel, a 26-year-old female from Gainesville, Florida wrote: “It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back! The room was terrific. The furniture was comfortable and the people were friendly.”

”Travelers often complain that hotel reviews can’t be trusted because they don’t know if they are written by people like them or not. Our unique and exclusive reviews filtering feature allows travelers to narrow down reviews so that they get only those written by people with their gender, in their same age range, and traveling for the same reasons on the same budget,” said Sam Shank, CEO of TravelPost.com. “This gives peace of mind that the recommendations are more relevant, and helps travelers to make more informed travel decisions.”

With nearly 200,000 hotel reviews, TravelPost.com is one of the fastest growing travel resources on the Web and the largest independent and impartial site for relevant hotel reviews. The site offers superior travel planning by matching travelers with the hotels that best meet their needs by providing travel advice from people truly like them. TravelPost.com delivers a set of comprehensive, consistent, and easy-to-use hotel reviews with a filtering feature that allows travelers to customize the site to find millions of combinations of reviews segmented by authors’ age, gender, purpose of stay, and travel budget, to get recommendations from travelers truly like them. The reviews are integrated with a travel blogging community in which travelers are able write about their experiences, post photos from their trips, and keep track of where they’ve been on a world map.
