Charter Communications Expands Ski Trip Sweepstakes to Promote Recurring Payment Options
Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) announced today that it has expanded its “Bundle Up” sweepstakes, which features a ski trip for two to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to include current and prospective users of its various recurring payment plans. The sweepstakes drawing has also been extended to February 15, 2006. Charter will automatically enter all customers who are enrolled in a recurring payment plan as of February 15, 2006. To register for the sweepstakes, individuals can visit charter.com.
The sweepstakes, which began December 14, 2005, includes a grand prize of airfare for two to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, accommodations at the Jackson Hole Resort for five days/four nights, lift tickets for three days and transportation to and from Jackson Airport.
“We’re very eager to prove to our customers, and to potential customers, the ease and convenience of using our recurring payment plans,” said Jeff Cox, Charter vice president of sales channels. “Our Bundle Up promotion has generated a lot of consumer interest, so we’re capitalizing on the opportunity to promote and encourage our customers to use our recurring payment options. Following the holiday season, we’re excited to extend the opportunity to win a ski vacation to more of our customers.”
Recurring payment plans offer simple ways for customers to pay bills for Charter services. The company offers multiple recurring payment options, including programs that pay customers’ bills automatically through their banks, credit or debit cards, or through services such as Checkfree and Charter epay. |
