Author Offers Free Copies of "The Bookstore Tourism Travel Journal for Book Addicts on the Go"

May 27, 2005 -- To celebrate the June 1 release of "The Bookstore Tourism Travel Journal for Book Addicts on the Go," the first 50 people who e-mail author Larry Portzline -- starting immediately -- will receive a free copy of the book.

"The Bookstore Tourism Travel Journal for Book Addicts on the Go" is a handy way to record your literary adventures in detail so you can remember them easily, share them with friends, and perhaps even use them as the basis of a "bookstore road trip" you'd like to plan someday with your reading group or organization. It's a reference, a history and a how-to all in one.

The journal has room for 50 bookstore entries with 20 questions each, ranging from such basic items as the shop's name, address and specialties, to "Unusual Finds," "Who Was With Me," and ratings for customer service and book selection. Each entry also includes space for a general description, notes on the bookshop's exact location, and the journalist's overall impressions. There's also a spot for writing down the names of friends to whom you'd recommend the store, plus much more.

To get a free copy of the book, send an e-mail to Larry Portzline at info -at- bookstoretourism.com (replace the -at- with the @ symbol please).

You must include the following in the body of your e-mail:

1. Your name
2. Your mailing address
3. The name of your favorite independent bookstore, with town
4. And the following code: I SUPPORT INDIE BOOKSTORES!

Also, please indicate in your e-mail if you'll permit your name, town, and favorite bookstore to be included in a list of winners to be posted on the daily Bookstore Tourism Blog at bookstoretourism.blogspot.com. (NOTE: Your e-mail address and other personal information will not be posted on the web and will not be given to anyone else.)

Only one free book will be awarded per mailing address. Please allow a couple of weeks for delivery.

Those who receive free copies are asked to do the following in return: Tell your friends about it and encourage them to pick one up. Also, take it to your favorite independent bookstore and ask them to stock it, along with the original "Bookstore Tourism" book by the creator of the concept, Larry Portzline.

Don't miss out. E-mail Larry Portzline now to get a free book.

The book will be available in bookstores everywhere and online after June 1.
